By using Veel, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and profile photo

• Profile Details: Bio, language preferences, and avatar selection

• Payment Information: UPI ID, bank account details, and transaction history for earnings/withdrawals

• Communications: Messages or content you share during calls or with our support team

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information

• Usage Data: Call duration, call frequency, session timestamps, and in-app activity

• Log Data: IP address, app crashes, and performance data

• Location Data: Approximate location based on IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location)

Information from Third Parties

• Firebase: Authentication and push notification tokens via Google Firebase

• Agora: Real-time voice and video call data processed through Agora.io infrastructure

• Razorpay: Payment processing data handled by Razorpay's secure platform

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Create and manage your Veel account

• Connect you with other users for voice/video calls

• Process earnings, withdrawals, and payment transactions

• Send push notifications for incoming calls and app updates

• Verify your identity and maintain account security

• Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance

• Respond to customer support requests

• Comply with legal obligations

• Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Agora (call infrastructure), Firebase (notifications/auth), Razorpay (payments), and cloud hosting providers — strictly to operate the service

• Other Users: Your display name, profile photo, and age are visible to users you connect with during calls

• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority

• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity

5. Voice and Video Calls

Veel facilitates real-time voice and video calls between users. Please note:

• Call audio and video are transmitted through Agora's encrypted infrastructure

• We do not record or store call content

• Call metadata (duration, timestamp, participants) is retained for earnings calculation and dispute resolution

• Calls are encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols

6. Payments and Earnings

For users who earn through Veel (female users/hosts):

• Earnings data is stored securely and used to calculate payouts

• Bank account or UPI details are encrypted and used solely for withdrawals

• Transaction history is retained for a minimum of 5 years as required by Indian financial regulations

• Payment processing is handled by Razorpay, subject to their privacy policy

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:

• Account data: Retained until account deletion + 30 days

• Transaction records: 5 years (regulatory requirement)

• Call metadata: 90 days

• Log data: 30 days

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the app's Settings → Delete Account option.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• AES-256 encryption for data at rest

• TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit

• Firebase Authentication for secure login

• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

• Access controls limiting employee access to personal data

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Veel is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
